Aug. 5th's Storytime is cancelled due to Miss Alexis going on vacation. It will come back Aug. 12th. DON'T WORRY!! It will be back.
Our Book Bedazzling event on Saturday was a fantastic time! Thank you so much to everyone who attended (post a photo of your finished book in the comments if you took it home & finished working on it)!!
Some were trying to fill the entire cover and others just did a few words or lines here and there. Everyone brought a different book and the gems accented them perfectly…look how nicely they turned out!
This event was popular enough that we will try to do it again in the near future. So if you missed out this time, join us at the next one!
We did a vote for your favorite dinosaur between a carnivore and a herbivore. I think we have a winner!!
Anyone age 15 or older is welcome to join us at the library at 4:00 this afternoon for Book Bedazzling! Just bring your own book that you want to add some sparkle to and we have the rest of the supplies, plus water, tea, and lemonade to drink.
You can decorate as much or as little of your book cover as you like...but know that the more you do, the longer it will take. You may leave at any time or you're welcome to stay until 6:00 pm. Anything you have left at that time you may take and finish at home.
We can't wait to see some shimmering results!
